Denis CHEVROT, 3rd at the IRONMAN in Nice, France
Denis CHEVROT did not lose heart during the IRONMAN in Nice, France. He finished 3rd with his 796 MONOBLADE equipped with KEO BLADE CARBON pedals!
Denis Chevrot started his race at 6:25 am on Sunday, July 23rd in 23,7°C water, with the goal of making the podium.
The beginning of the race was tough as Denis took off pretty fast. In the lead after the swim, the “Châlons-en-Champagne” native lost some time but stayed in contact with the leading group. He persevered on his 796 MONOBLADE and closed the gap to within 20 minutes of Frederik Van Lierde, the eventual race winner. Denis came off the bike in 5th place and took advantage of his exceptional running skills to make up even more time against his competitors. He finished with an honorable 3rd place after 8h 39mn 42s of competition.
